Punching In/Out using QRCodes

Employees must be enrolled prior to being able to punch in/out using QRCodes. See Enrolling Employee using QRCodes if the employee is not yet enrolled.

The camera preview screen should always stay on the device when waiting for an employee to punch in/out.

 

To punch In/Out, an employee would perform the following steps:

• Position the QRCode about 6 to 12 inches away from the tablet screen with the QRCode facing the screen.
• Once the employee is successfully identified, a confirmation sound will be heard (depending on the volume setting) and the punch confirmation screen will appear.
• Once the punch confirmation screen appears the punch will automatically be saved or the employee may modify the punch settings and then Tap Save.
