Reviews

Reviews are used to record different types of employee reviews, anything from accolades to disciplines, entrance interviews to exit interviews.

Reviews consist of a predefined set of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) that can be easily entered by a supervisor or manager and used to compare between employees in a consistent manner.

To view the individual Reviews for the employees to which you have access, do the following:

  • Click HR, then click Reviews in the main menu.
  • If you see a large list of reviews, use the Search Panel feature to narrow the results.

To edit a Review:

  • Click Edit in the button bar and make the changes.

  • Click Save in the button bar.

To add a new Review:

  • Click New in the button bar.

  • Choose the Employee, select the Status, Type and Dates, select a KPI Group to add KPIs from, complete the KPI information and enter any required notes.

  • Click Save in the button bar, or click Cancel to exit.

FIELD DESCRIPTION
Reviewer The person conducting the review.
Status Select the Status of the review from the drop-down box.
STATUSDESCRIPTION
ScheduledThe review is scheduled to take place on a future date.
Being ReviewedThe review is currently in progress.
CompleteThe review has been completed.
Type Select the Type of the review from the drop-down box.
TYPEDESCRIPTION
AccoladeEmployee is being recognized for going above and beyond their regular duties or exhibiting outstanding performance.
DisciplineEmployee is being disciplined for being in breach of the companies policies or unacceptable behavior.
Review (General)General review that may not directly be related to the employees wage or performance.
Review (Wage)Review specific to determining the employees future wage or compensation.
Review (Performance)Review specific to the employees performance.
IncidentThe employee has been involved in a work related incident other than Accident/Injury or a Discipline action.
Accident/InjuryThe employee has been involved in an accident or injured on the job.
Background CheckWhen the employee requires a background check.
Drug TestWhen the employee requires a drug test.
Health/ImmunizationWhen the employee requires immunizations or other health related procedures.
Entrance InterviewWhen the employee is hired or changes positions within the company.
Exit InterviewWhen the employee leaves or is terminated.
MiscellaneousAny other type of review that does not fit into the above types.
Terms Specify which way the review would affect the employee: Positive, Negative, or Neutral (neither one way or the other).
Rating A final numeric rating value that would represent the entire review to help compare employees overall. It is recommended that negative reviews are negative values and positive reviews are positive values.

For example a critically high severity negative review may be -10, where a critically positive review may be +10, and a medium severity neutral review may be 0.

Severity The severity of the above terms.

For example, it may be a critically negative review, or highly positive review.

Start Date If the review was for a specific period of time, like the prior year, enter the start date of the period here.
End Date If the review was for a specific period of time, like the prior year, enter the end date of the period here.
Due Date If a review was scheduled to be completed on a future date, enter the date that it must be completed here.
Note Enter any general or overall notes for the review.
