Qualifications

Qualifications define all the possible items that can be assigned to employees as Skills, Education, Licenses, Memberships and Languages.

For example, a Qualification of Type Skill will need to be created before that skill can be assigned to an employee.

To view Qualifications, do the following:

  • Click HR, then click Qualifications in the main menu.
  • If you see a large list of qualifications, use the Search Panel feature to narrow the results.

To edit a Qualification:

  • Click Edit in the button bar. Make the changes.

  • Click Save in the button bar.

To add a new Qualification:

  • Click New in the button bar.

  • Enter a name, choose a Type, select a Group and enter a Description.

  • Click Save in the button bar, or click Cancel to exit.

FIELD DESCRIPTION
Name Name of the qualification.
Type What type of qualification, either Skill, Education, License, Membership or Language.
Qualification Group The group that this qualification is assigned to.
Visibility Identifies who can view the qualification.
