Remittance Summary Report (Canada)
A Remittance Summary is used to report payroll source deduction amounts remitted to Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), such as CPP, EI and Federal and Provincial income tax and pensionable and insurable earnings (PIER), along with any relevant dates or transaction details. These reports confirm that all payments have been accurately processed and recorded to meet regulatory requirements and maintains historical data for future reference/audits.
NOTE: This report is linked to the tax wizard events and therefore should be accessed through the Tax Wizard for full functionality.
