Form W2/W3 Report (United States)
Form W2/W3 Report is used to report details such as wages and taxes withheld throughout the year to the Social Security Administration (SSA) and the appropriate state, city or local tax authorities. It provides details and a summary of total earnings, Social Security and Medicare taxes withheld, federal and state income taxes withheld and other relevant income and tax data. The W2 forms are generated to provide employees and the appropriate government agencies the tax data required for compliance. Employers use these reports to ensure compliance with laws and to prepare for audits or required reporting to government agencies.
NOTE: This report is linked to the tax wizard events and therefore should be accessed through the Tax Wizard for full functionality.
See Reports for information common to all reports.
