Form 1099-NEC Report (United States)
The United States Form 1099-NEC (Nonemployee Compensation) Report is used to provide information to the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and independent contractors, freelancers or other non-employee workers about compensation paid. The contractors use this information for filing their personal tax returns. It includes the company's information, the contractor's information and the total amount of compensation paid during the tax year. This form ensures compliance with IRS regulations.
