Highlights:

  • NOTICE: Regarding the US One-Big-Beautiful-Bill Act (OBBBA) which implements a temporary no tax on qualified overtime.

    • If all overtime paid by your organization qualifies under the FLSA (generally hours worked in excess of 40 in a workweek), qualified overtime wages can be easily included on your Form W2 using the Form Setup tab.

    • Employers that pay overtime which does not qualify under FLSA standards, such as state-mandated daily overtime, must contact Support before your first pay period is paid in 2026. Our team will happily assist you in configuring TimeTrex to properly track, separate, and report qualified overtime wages.

  • Tax:

    • Updated US and Canada withholding tax formulas for January 2026.

  • Exception Policies:

    • Added "Late Break (B6)" exception to track when an employee takes a break later in their shift than allowed.

  • Tax & Deductions:

    • Custom Formulas can now look back into the prior year to better handle 401(k) thresholds.

  • Tax Reports:

    • Form Setup is now validated against other tax forms and Tax & Deductions to help ensure accuracy.
